Homework:

Each homework should be turned in at the beginning of class when it is due. Late homework is accepted in extraordinary circumstances. Solutions to homeowrk assignments will be available on the class WEB page.

Exams:

There will be three tests (each of them will be closed book and closed notes). Using handhelds and graphic calculators during tests is not allowed. Following is a tentative schedule of the tests:

Grading:

If the sum of: the attendance score multiplied by 0.09, the homework score (the average of all homework scores) multiplied by 0.31, and the test score (the average of all test scores) multiplied by 0.6 will be greater than or equal to 90%, then your grade in the course will be an "A". If the above value will be greater than or equal to 80%, 70%, and 60%, then your grade will be a "B", "C", and "D".
